Bleed in sequence: furthest corner from the master cylinder first, working to the nearest — on a left-hand-drive car that's right rear, left rear, right front, left front. That pushes the old fluid and air the shortest way out.
Keep the reservoir topped up with fresh DOT4 the whole time — if it runs dry you pull air into the master cylinder and start over
